I don't understand why people are moaning about this. There are several threads about Huddersfield's supposed overconfidence.

They have every right to be confident. They are playing better than we are and are in a much better position that we are with regards to injuries.

They have a cracking chance of beating us at the weekend.

What the hell they supposed to say "No, we dont stand a chance, we might as not well bother coming"?

Its about creating the belief in the Giants camp that they can take on any team on the day, especially the most successeful team in the comp in the past few years.

a few years ago, allen hunte said roughly the same in a semi final against leeds, and guess what happend, widnes mouthed off about "dads army" in the final of 76, guess what happend, things where said before the final against wigoon at murrayfield, guess what happend again, let them say whatever they want to, hopefully saints will use it as an extra incentive, and just get on with our own game.

Confidence in camp can be preceived differently from over-confidence and "cheap talk" in the press although alot of it is mis quoted, especially when playing a side that hasnt lost in the comp for over 4 years, and again top of the league ladder.

The biggest challenge saints face is in the forwards, if we can hold our own without Cayless and Maurie than Im more than confident our backs and halves can win us the game.
