| He put in another excellent shift last night, full 80 I think, I reckon he will be a real asset to the club.

| He's big, fit, mobile and he makes himself available. If he amounts to nothing else he'll still be a good signing.

| I think will benefit from having Burns and walsh playing as he's a powerful runner and loves the inside or short ball. I Defo think he will make some tackle busts when we have halves back.
Massive work rate, I think hes done 80 mins in all 5 games this year.
My only negative, he misses more tackles than he should be doing.

| Too early for me to say "called it"?
Only criticism I have is I'd like him to hold his line on the wide angle more, as he presents himself for the drop off a little too often. Hopefully when our halfbacks settle down he'll be hitting the gaps though. Made a really positive start though.

If I remember righty, you said he was better in defence than Sia but he's missing far to many at the moment.

I said he was a match for Sia in defence, and his tackle % was slightly above where Sia's were. So far it's true, he's just over 91% tackle completion so far this year, and Sia averaged just under 91% for the whole of last year. I can't remember him missing a tackle that led to a try yet either? Sia loved a missed tackle too remember

I'm not knocking vea but he's very very suspect in defence. Maybe some of that is tiredness as he does the full 80 mins and he's a big big guy.

I honestly don't think he's that bad! I can't remember Souths exploiting him at any point and he's no worse than Greenwood on the other side? Maybe I'm just overconfident in our abilities so is he according to the title: www.dailystar.co.uk/rugby-league ... tic-treble
hes not blessed with looks though!

| His name is tantalisingly close to "Attila".
If he adds a few busts to his game I'm sure I can shoehorn "rampage" in.
Throw in Travis and there could be plenty of slashing and burning the next time we invade Wigan.

| His workrate is very impressive. Probably had to do everything at London! When he adapts to playing with more quality players around him, adds a few offloads, he'll be a right handfull

| It normally takes 5 or 6 games to get familiar with team plays and structure, Vea has settled in quickly and the ability to do long minutes is a bonus.
He looks quite durable, his biggest weakness is watching the defender coming in when he is receiving the pass, this was something Burns noticed a few times and got told about it when dropping the ball.
Vea, Greenwood, LMS and Sav is a pretty strong backrow forward option, i,m sure when some of these get more game time we will reap the benefits.
