I can't see Lilley replacing either of them tbh. Maybe its a squad depth thing? Gotta trust Kears' know how here I suppose.

I would be very disappointed if Chizzy went, he's quality (albeit returning from a huge injury) and the closest thing we have to a bona fide star player. Surely the club won't make THAT mistake again....

I might be wrong but I believe the club released a statement saying he had signed for 2 years but I think I read a comment on Twitter from him saying he had only signed a year deal.

TBH, thinking about this it's a sensible move.

A third half back means that Keyes or Chisholm can be rotated in and out of the squad.

Also, given Chisholm's hot and cold form this year, it could also be a clever way by Kear to light a fire under his ass to get him motivated to fight for his spot and get back to his best
