Felt numb when I read the news. Absolutely heatbreaking. I hope as many Bulls fans as possible go over to Headingley to raise as raise much money as possible for Rob.

I wonder how long Rob and those around him have known. I can't help but feel that the timing of the announcement is linked to the recent SPOTY awards and Doddie Weir raising awareness.

It's just terrible news - and such a great bloke. It's just awful, I really don't know what to say.

It's tragic really. I knew a bloke from Birkenshaw with MND who was a lifelong Rhino, fought to his last days and always remembered as a top bloke. The same has been said for Rob.

As a young fan I never liked him, but that was only because I feared him so much. His pace was lightning, and it terrorised defences year in year out.
