With what reason? Come on we all know how bent RL is and this is the biggest reason why it's dying a slow and painful death, the same clubs every year hogging all the talent with underhand tactics from this winning competitions then from that get the big crowds. Basically you have about 5 teams who can ACTUALLY win something the rest are just cannon fodder with no hope what's so ever it's like their only there for the big sides to smash up. Well Koukash has seen this with his own eyes and knows the whole sports attitude needs to change!

I was told by an ex Warrington wolves academy player about how brown packets full of money were handed out like toffees to certain players an now it's all come out in public. Don't forget we now have people at te club who experienced salary cap breaches and not to mention our CEO who used to be the NRL finance director he knows how easy this pathetic salary cap is to fiddle and this is the only reason why the big clubs like wire and Wigan and Leeds for that matter don't want a raise because their already benefiting with underhand tactics while other club who can't spend it are none the wiser.

Just been reading on the total RL.com forum and a lad on their a Leeds fan has admitted being told by a player who played for Leeds and now Catalan (wonder who that could be) used to collect extra money in Hong Kong on the way back to Australia. Outrageous!

Tight squad limits, but no cap, sorts it out. 13 players on £50k or more (but as high as you like). If you're rich you can bring superstars in, but you can't fill the bench and reserves with all the talent in the league, nor will you have much chance of winning the title unless you've got great development resources ( with injuries, chances are you'll do well to get 8 or 9 of your 13 stars on the field at any one time, and you need a match day squad of 17). Even clubs without lots of money will be able to do OK - even the mega rich club will only want one scrum half in their 13 'star list' so the next best scrum halves in the UK are available to the next team etc.. Even a smaller club has a chance - they can be smart about which positions they fill with 'stars' and try to be the best development squad ( those who take most seriously the players behind the 13 stars will have a great chance to be competitive). Put *exactly* the same rules in the championship, but drop it to £40k.

The gap between 'stars' and sub £50k players will remove any suspicion of wives on payroll, etc. It would be completely obvious if you had more than 13 'star' players.
