Lasted a whole 20 minutes last night including the break for adverts. Can the contributors not create a 30 minute discussion any more? It'll end up becoming an interest item slotted into Skysports News soon. Poor showing from the channel that at the start of the season declared that they were always talking up rugby league. No wonder they didn't get the rights to show the World Cup.

Is it 10 minutes shorter because they've cut down the senseless blathering between Studd and Stevo?

They cut out all the "It's as simple as that" and "What do you think Stevo" so 20 minutes it was.

Maybe they've just cut out the bits when Stevo talks about Rob Burrow?

I just really wish we could have a 'footy show' type panel show like they have in Aus.... Give the players a bit of a higher profile - let them show off their peronalities.
Over here, whenever a player is interviewed, we get the same politically correct answers that they've all been taught in their media classes.
You could have set segments that the players are invited on the show to take part in, then have ex-players/coaches on the panel regularly to discuss the latest news and goings on. This is the sort of thing where I think the likes of Carney, Mcdermott and O'Connor would excel.
If it's done right, it would get a bit of a cult following - similar to what SoccerAM used to have over here. This would be a great way of reaching out to the wider public and gaining more interest in the sport.
Plus - you could then get the likes of Bradley Wiggins, Wayne Rooney and other famous RL fans onto the show to further increase interest.
