I read a few threads on others boards over the annoucement of the Hj not being a big enough venue for the semi final on saturday but yet here we are thurday and its still not sold out this was announced on the radio this afternoon looks like the rfl might have got this one spot on

Hardly suprising considering the fans of both teams. Weren't they calling for it to be in a bigger football stadium like the DW when the HJ was announced ? Good job the RL have got their heads screwed on, would have looked daft playing to a half empty stadium.

I've said this many times this season, but how many of your 11,000 would follow Warrington to Widnes for a season if the HJ was, say, destroyed by a bomb? I don't reckon you'd do much better than we have. Averaging 7,500 ish.

You also have to remember Saints have been in about 11 (?) consecutive Challenge Cup semi finals so there is no romance about it like there might be for a normal SL side.
