Is this guy living in the past !
He used to be one of the best props on any continent but is now a shadow of what he used to be had no impact on the game today but as far as I'm concerned England should move on from him and use the better props like Crabtree and Carvell even Harrison !
Also if Mac the Muppet plays that same team as today the Aussie will teach them a lesson I'd put Sinfield back at loose fwd Highington in the second row Widdop in the halves and have a bench of Morley , Carvell, Westwood and Crabtree and when Roby needs a rest move Sinfield to hooker and Highington to loose fwd
Don't understand why he insists on playing players out of position and has JJB anywhere in the team !

The squad is what we have. I would still go with Peacock but am definately worried that this is a tournament to far considering his age and injuries

Put Sinfield in as starting hooker with Roby off the bench. Start Widdop at stand off with Chase at scrum half.

Carvell was the best prop in SL this season and his pace, drive forward and off loads will be a huge factor against the tough tackling Kiwis and Aussies. Oh hang on, I forgot, Macnamara is the coach and he's dead against any good prop play!

Plus Morley isn't a bench impact player, he's the man you want making the first hit-up or tackle from minute one. He frightens opposition players and you need that from the get-go.

His one-out rugby tactics are awful and we'll get tonked by both the Australaisians!

Replace Peacock with Carvell and take out one of the second rowers and put in Crabtree need four props up front next week and Sinfield back to 13.

Both Carvell and Mossop are far more deserving of a spot in this England team than Peacock. Jamie's had a relativley average season to be kind, where as Gareth and Lee have both been the stand out props for their clubs, and possibly the comp.

Averages 115 meteres a games 29 tackles and 17 hit ups a game. He's still good enough to compete at this level and when well yesterday along with the other front rowers. I'd have Carvell in place of Wilkin on the bench though.

Carvell has to be selected next week ahead of JJB or Wilkin. He'll punch holes in any defence and get us rolling forward.

Mossop should have been in the squad. He's a terrific player and is only going to get bigger and better. We have 2 international competitions before the world cup and he needs some exposure before that.

Lets face it the Aussies will bitch slap us whether Peacock plays or whoever everybody's club favourite is.

The fault will be blamed on McNamara just like it was Tony Smith's fault for picking guys like Paul Sykes and Calderwood ahead of everyones favourites.

I agree Peacock and Morley will probably only be around for a couple of seasons but they can hopefully hang on till Josh Perry and Jeff Lima meet the residency requirements.

Peacock and Morley don't deserve to be playing at international level. It says it all that players like that are still selected. There really isn't anyone obviously better they could call up.

Roby, Graham, Westwood and Ellis are the only real quality England have in the pack. It's a myth that we've got a pack to compete with the Aussies.
