| Still disappointing in areas.
Ratchford was very laboured in the defence of the first try and some of his running also.
Some poor plays from Sandow. Not doing enough to rubbish rumour tonight so far.
Happy to see Lineman having a crack and Atkins still knows where the line is.

| Call me old fashioned but I thought that an incorrect PTB should result in a penalty rather than a dubious knock on call and scrum restart.
Well at least its been called consistently.

| Only reason I can think of playing Lineham was to try to build his confidence but he had a mixed game for me.
Bombed a try, and thankfully Ratch covered his cock up with the grounding in goal, but fair play to him for getting stuck in when taking the ball up.
Far from our best tonight overall and the scoreline flattered us. We're not playing GF winning stuff at all. A lot of players bandaged up or carrying knocks from what I can see. (Westwood and King were good interchange props. Hill took the ball up well but does look a little tired).
I sincerely hope Koukash doesn't take his toys home. This side is far better than the previous ones under his rein and Watson/Sheens have the right calmness about them. The home crowds must be a real worry though.

| The first 20 minutes aside I thought we played pretty well tonight. Sandow, Atkins and westerman were very good and ratchford a couple of mistakes aside had a good game as well. Tonight was probably the first time I thought we looked better when hill and sims went off after their first stints. Westwood put some real grunt in, I'm not sold on George King at prop (especially first carry from kick off) but he is playing solid rugby and has done most of the year. Him and his brother are great prospects. Patton had a good game as well.

| Well, I don't know of any Sandow rumour, but to me he looks happier than a frenchman living above a house of ill repute. He's clearly enjoying his rugby, revelling in the freedom of the English game and loving the balmy summer weather. Either than or he's a very good actor and he's signing for Leeds in a straight swap for their entire team (plus cash).
Elsewhere, Atkins was superb and is playing as well as he ever has, Dwyer continues to prove that the day we let Higham go was the best bit of business we've done since we said to Mr Emirates "Sign here", and Westerman had his best game for us by some distance.
Good day at the office, not brilliant, not perfect, but good and improving.

| Atkins is certainly improving with every game & that last Salford try from the scrum was basically caused by putting Atkins in the scrum & leaving a gap in the defence &,i think it was Hughes running across to fill the gap when they scored.
They look a different team when Dwyer comes on & he is improving with every game.
I thought it was a very patch performance though with still too many errors & i was completely confused at 22-8 up when we started playing panic rugby for ten minutes or so.
Good to see Kenny get one for Salford & for GO'B to have a regular starting slot.

| There were a couple of occasions, in particular in the 2nd half with the Lui try, where I'd have liked Ratchford to put his body on the line to attempt a tackle, rather than (like last week) where he again did a bit of collar groping.
Dwyer exemplifies a guy who does this well, never giving things up as a lost cause, such a when he prevented the Kenny "try".

| first half i thought dwyer wasn't as good as his usual standards, some of his DH passing(particularly to westwood) was a bit off.
The try saver though, jesus, it just reinforces he could be something bloody special, he's that desire about him.
I'm a fan of ratch at FB, as most will know on here, but after having about 6-8 matches at FB where he was bloody good, he has been having a couple of stinkers lately, and you're right, some crap line defence last week and this, which previously, he wasn't shying away from
