one hell of a game again.could have gone either way.east had it in the bag at half time,but the miners never say die come together in second half and just comming up with the points,credit to both teams what a show.

It was an interesting match , east 22 2 up at half time and cruising , then miners scored , east went down to 12 , and it was case of could east hang on

Miners scored in the last couple of minutes to win the game , shame it was from a blatant forward pass , but that's life , the ref can only give what he sees , bragging rights to the miners till december

Miners made very hard work to score against 11 tired men! Would imagine the East coaching staff are very disappointed with the stupidty of a couple of their players. The first 2 sending offs were totally justified for blatent punching and I assume that the third was for ref abuse after the last try.

the third was for throwing a punch at a spectator according to some of the people stood behind the posts. very poor discipline from numerous east players, who were running away with it after thirty minutes.

It was the East 13 who threw a punch at a spectator and he didnt get sent off , I think John Taylor was the third East player dismissed and it was for ref abuse.

Think East need to get a grip with some of these new imports is it really what Leigh East is about ,or is beating the Miners to much of a burden.

What did Winston get dismissed for ?
