Whatever happens tomorrow it has been a great season beyond expectation and bodes well for the future.

Being a Giants fan has been a great place to be most of us would have taken the LLS, Challenge Cup Q/Final, one match from the Grand Final if we were offered it at the start of the season.

So tomorrow I'm off to Warrington and boy I want us to win, but whether it's Old Trafford or not it's been a great ride and the positives far outweigh the negatives.

So to Balloo and the boys good luck we are behind you just give it your best shot!!!

Next season - to quote the famous movie line 'I'll be back'

We could have a draw at full time and then go into golden point.

I know I was speaking figuratively using the well known saying.
Golden point win would do fine !!

therefore....

Considering that we had a first season, unproven coach and a team that fell apart in 2012 we were expected by a few not to make to top 8, one Wakie fan even predicted us to finish bottom!

So to finish the regular season at the top of the pile and to be 80 minutes away from Old Trafford beats all expectations.

I'm really pleased to just be in amongst the final 4 left and still with a chance of getting to Old Trafford.

Whatever happens tomorrow this year has excelled anyone's expectations already i feel...many people, including our own, had us written off before the year even began so to be 80 minutes away from Old Trafford and having secured the League Leaders shield with a week to spare is nothing short of remarkable compared to the feeling around the club last year.

I would love us to go all the way and prove all the doubters wrong and stick 2 fingers up to them but if we fall tomorrow having given it our all i shall be more than happy.

l too think we have had a great season, and have already exeeded expectations, l obviously want us to win on Thursday, win or loose l am very proud this year to be a giants supporter.
Baloo should be a cert for "coach of the year", and Broughy a good bet for "man of steel".

Defeatist thread. Lock it, start another one entitled "Win" and save the reminiscing for when the season is over.

Obviously I'll go curl up in a ball and cry in the corner if you guy's beat us, but after I get over the fact our season is over I will be rooting for you guys to win the final. I'm sick to death of seeing the same teams name on that trophy and to see your team lift it with Leeds or Wigan picking up their losers medals would be pretty sweet.
