I guess some people will say, "Score more points than they do."
However, I hope we do the other obvious things:
Don't give Briers any interception chances. Dummy near him or kick the ball behind him as he stands in our line.
Stop the off-loads by either clamping their players or intercepting these passes.
The West stand in which I sit needs to be more vociferous. We need to influence the ref and touchjudges especially by shouting "Forward" (as Saints and Wire fans do). 20,000 Wiganers should be heard. It's so disappointing that we rely on the South Stand so much. People sitting there cannot see the forward passes that easily.
Probably most important of all, our forwards have to keep up the good work and smash them.

we need to play down the wing when we are close to the line, especially on Rileys side. They were shocking with that against Cas last week, Pat & Goulding would have a field day.

we need to pressure them and not let them blow us away, they dont like pressure and dont handle it well.

Tonight i think if we defend with the same defensive intensity as we did at Catalans before we went down to 12 men, we will win comfortably IMO.

We need to stop the offloads, they rely heavily on offloads. Clamp up the ball and control the ruck speed, then a large part of their attacking ideas go out the window as they play exciting, off-the-cuff rugby. Also we need to take advantage when each of Carvell, Morley and Monaghan go off the field, sometimes they look average without Monaghan especially.

I think our forwards need to front up, with Stu leading the way and have a good kicking game and keep them in their own half, i can think of only Riley who i would back to score from 70-80 metres out.

I have a good feeling about tonight and i think it might just be our best performance of the season. Come on Wigan

#1 Stop the wire offloading. We'll have our work cut out as it is containing the wire frontrow without having to do even more work.

#2 Control that ruck. If we can minimize the quick play the balls that wire get it'll go along way to us winning.

i would back atkins and possibly myler could do it aswell
