Given all the strange negativity going round, I'd just like to say how good I thought the Leeds fans were.
They turned up in decent numbers, despite poor early sales, were loud and passionate and after the game, I had nothing but positive interaction with them.
They did their Club proud (which is more than can be said for a couple of their players).

Well I thought the vast gaps at their end of the ground were embarrassing.

The Club Wembley tier is always an irritant at the CC Final, but there were huge spaces elswhere at the Leeds end.

I was expecting a lot worse from the early reports.

agree with you on that. there must be abetter way to manage those seats. it looks plain stupid.

I was too, if I'm honest. But it wasn't fun to see it. I can only hope the BBC cameras didn't linger too long on their end.

yes they had way too many empty seats! Credit to the leeds fans that turned up but the ones that stayed at home should feel very bad this morning! They let their team down!

All our fault on the VT this morning. We are Champions and were red hot favourites to win the cup, so we should have sold out Leeds unsold allocation as well...plus Club Wembley seats which were not available to us.

I'll second this! The ones that were there (apart from the few that were sat in the Wigan end trying to goad the Wigan fans) were generally excellent and added to the great atmosphere.

However I thought the ones that WERE there were great yesterday.
Didn't see an ounce of trouble before, during or after the match from any fans, be they Wigan, Leeds or neutral.

Only gripe i have with (one of) them is that after the match I was walking back to the coach with some young children and this chubby Leeds lady fan on crutches turned round and shouted at the top of her voice to someone she must have been arguing with 'f*ck off you fat c*nts' when i told her to watch her language she also told me to 'f*ck off you inbred scum'

TBH I would have expected it from a mid-20s chav but she looked like a 40 year old and she was with what looked like her children aswell. Disgrace.

Anyway other than that, Leeds fans were ok. Bit disappointed with the massive gaps in their end but fair play to the ones that turned up. (and left as soon as the hooter went

A big well done to the Leeds fans sat in our end behind the sticks for screaming "Wigan Scum" at my wife and kids when they were going the toilet near the end.

At least the Leeds team turned up yesterday. Pity more of their "fans" couldn't. Their effort and application deserved more than that poor turnout.
