Hull FC have suspended Martin Aspinwall due to disciplinary matter. Not good for him really.

What was the reason for Wigan letting him go back in 2005/2006 I think, was it the signing of Vaealiki?

Or was it more of similar matters happening now at Hull FC?

Do Hull only sign crocks and ASBO players now?

How many chances does one man get (deserve)?

It's a shame really as he had ability but lacks application.

Must be very frustrating for Hull FC fans. Have the potential to be breaking into the top 4 in the Super League and have never really built on the success of the team in 2006.

Aspinwall was a nothing of a signing for Hull.

A chequered past and very little in the way of onfield determination.

There are still times when I think of the Millward era at Wigan as the 'Aspinwall era' because we seemed to lack any kind of go-forward.

What is it with some players, I'm not saying he had enough to be the next Paul Newlove, but he certainly had enough talent to have a decent career. I know they are not all brainiacs, but even the daftest person can surely equate, good source of income, don't do anything to stop it. A sensible player would of course look to maximise that income by getting better, but an average player will at least try to hold what he has.

A very bad coaching appointment in Agar buggerd that up and a board just happy to make money and not bother about results on pitch didnt help.

I don't think you could actually be given a worse insult.

It does say hes only suspended so he may not get sacked yet. But still I dont see why this guy is given chance after chance to b*gger it all up again and again! Someone else deserves his place not him. Hull bring your youngsters through instead we have proved that it can work so do it.
