| This season has clearly shown how much we rely on Hock and Sam. If one of those players isn't on our attacking game goes out the window. I think our attack has become one dimensional and unimaginative with a halfback passing out the back to Sam and we just hope he can do something. I also feel if we rely on Hock constantly to get the offload its gonna burn him out and soon Sam won't find the holes as easy as he has done so far this season. Once this happens our attacking game will be predictable like the back end of last year. We don't seem to have struck a partnership like Hoffman and Finch had last year. Nobody runs off him the same except Liam Farrell and he isn't on enough. The second Goulding try last night was refreshing because Hansen and Leuluai combined in a runaround and set up a nice try. Just some observations.

| Too many contradictions there in your own statement for me to get overly worried about things.
Best points "For" in the league suggests our attack isn't too bad?
One domensional - But we over rely on Sam & Hock, isn't that 2 dimensions?
We haven't got a finch/hoffman partnership, apart from farrell?Isn't that a combination then?
What about Hock? he seems to be doing pretty well off the back of the Finch partnership for me?
I think were doing alright.

| And Sam did not play in two of the games, so we have to be doing something right. Wane is playing more expansive rugby, the defence needs tightening, but when did you ever hear a coach or fan saying other wise. People have left, things change, thats the beauty of sport and RL especially.

| I understand its working at the moment with Sam breaking the line at will but I just feel if he got injured or gets found out we may struggle. May just be me over worrying about it but just something me and the people I go games with have thought a few times

| We seem to go a bit flat when Mickey Mac goes off, but overall we can't complain. We've got the best attack and fourth best defence (Hull have played one game less and Catalan two) and best points difference so we must be doing something right.

| Reliant on Sam and hock? What about Finch who basically creates 80% of our tries? And O'Loughlin who is the beating heart of our team? Every team has about 3 strike players who can create something out of nothing - Saints have Roby and Lomax. Wire have Briers, Monaghan and Hodgson, Leeds have Burrow and McGuire etc etc
Every single team in the world is reliant on a couple of players to run the show.

| Talking of over reliance. I was a little worried last night to discover that Lockers wasn't playing, but credit to the team they didn't let that key absence upset them. That was a big plus point and I felt buoyed by that performance whist missing Lockers.

| I personally don't think our attacking options are that bad. We looked quite dangerous against Salford last night in my opinion. Especially when we played a good 20-25 mins of the second half just running the game out and saving ourselves. If we have any problems at the moment, it's being quite slack in defence and a few errors at crucial times.

Agreed, its always a worry when we go into a match without O'Loughlin but we did fine without him.
