With Morrison leaving

who do you think will be next years captain? Tony, Southern, Mariano, Lee?

Frankie is probably a bit young but would make a good Vice Captain IMO.

Any of the above with the exception of Lee. We do actually want a team of triers next season, not i'll try when i can be d characters.

It's impossible to say at the minute. Out of those 4, there's only one viable option and that's Southern. Tony & Lee aren't even guarenteed to get into the 17 in my opinion and Mariano shouldn't have the extra responsibility thrust his way yet especially since he's only just established himself as a SL player.

If the incoming stand off is an organiser (required) it could well be him.

I think that was my call some weeks ago too - on the face of it, Southern would appear to be a good replacement for Morro's experience and seniority.

mellars? collis? lauitiiti? southern? all have a lot of experience be it nrl, super league or both.


whoever it is needs to be a leader. which i think rules out tommy flippin lee. he is garbage. mariano is too young along with pj, as is murphy, if he even stays. this will obviously depend on who is signed. dowes possibly? or obst?

There are two reasons Lee shouldn't be Captain (and only two)

1) He is a hooker so isn't on the field for the whole game
2 He isn't a Captain

I can't understand why people go on about him. For me he is often the guy missing the tackle someone else ought to be making not a weak link. Put him back at hooker and leave him alone.
As an example, the try he scored against Bradford had determination, strength and skill. It was completely individual and needed someone with a will to get over that line whether it was hard or not.
I was in the boxes and it was scored right in front of me.....I had a perfect view.

As for who should be Captain, I don't think we have a natural one apart from Morrison.
