And the review panel clearly saw it and acknowledged that he'd thrown a punch. Although they said that, despite the punch being intentional, the contact with Stosic's face was accidental. Which is an interesting summation.

Well surely everyone else can see that its Stosics own fault because he put his face in a premeditated manner in the way of Cunninghams fist

its just laughable really isnt it. I wouldnt bother me this much if I thought that if say Mike Burnett did that or Tommy Lee that they would receive the same 'warning'. which of course they wouldnt, they would be 'made an example of'. Shocking

according to rugby leaguer, Oldhams Danny Halliwell was given a 2 game band and a fine for punching. says it all really. I cant imagine that he did anything worse than break a guy's cheekbone

It's a clear punch, no doubt about it. It makes no difference who threw it he should have recieved more than a warning.
I wonder what the outcome would have been if it had of been the other way round?
