Unfortunately its the way of the world, everyone looking for a quick buck. The whole system needs to be looked at. Maybe there should be a rule that says if you act like a tw@ you deserve all you get.

To be fair to Hudgell if he didn't take this on someone else would its the business he's in and would eb silly to turn down work, although it doesn't say he's persuing the case yet.

Wonder if anyone will sue him for making them listen to that awful new 'Minder' ad on Viking every day?!

The case will depend on several factors...I know it sounds crazy but we are dealing with school children, was there a sign forbiding standing in that area, also it poses the question why did the driver not act when he saw them climbing onto the rack, he may well not have seen them in time...all common sense I know but Hudge has possible considered these areas knowing children where involved.

Just another example of the world going mad. My daughter had to wear safety goggles in science when putting some sugar in a jug of water to avoid litigation had the sugar entered her eye. People claiming during the cold snap that if their child caught a cold whilst at school they would sue the school. People need to grow up, take some responsibility for their own and their childrens' behaviour and its consequences and cut-off the supply of cash to the those that perpetuate this compensation culture.

If that had've happened to me as a kid, I would have begged the police not to tell my parents, 'cos I know I would have been given a right rollocking at the least, probably have to write to the bus company and driver saying how sorry I was and I would never do it again. Plus have to pay so much of my pocket money each week to replace the bus window!!

Where did society go wrong?

Not sure how if can be classed as a "low" for Hudgell, if he didnt get the case, some one else would. I'd also wager that if it hadn't been Hudgel attached to it then it wouldn't have got a mention.

That aside, it does show the terminal wittedness of some people, and with any luck it will get laughed out of court.

Where I used to work, the directors had to install a safety rail on a flat roof to the rear of the office, for the sole reason that it used to be a hangout for the scrotes to drink their white lightening. Despite the fact they shouldn't have been there, and it was private property, if one of them had fallen off the roof while ed up then the company could have been held responsible for not providing a safe place to hide and drink.

Says far more about the demise of attitudes in this country than anything about Hudge.

A story that says lots about society today. Also not really news worthy unless it's HDM having a swipe at Hudgell following thier fall out.

I knew which story this was without even clicking on the link. Disgusting stuff and thank god the other girls parents had a bit of savvy.

The driver was a women she worked for stagecoach first but got the sack. Its the kids own fault she's old enough to know better.
