Who was the Wakey player Rich shrugged off ? apart from Johnson ( I think ) who came from the other wing, no one looked interested. Also thought Briscoe's try was one of the best of the season, started by Phelps and Whiting accross to the right and then moved left for Tommy to score. Recovered quicker than Sammy Moa too, after he made his 60 metre run, it must have ook him 5 minutes to recover

I've been spouting that Whiting is not as slow as his reputation for the last couple of seasons.

Ever since his magnificent diagonal streak at the Willows a couple of years ago when he ran from our try line to Salford's and saved a certain try from their winger I've been raising a cocked eyebrow at the concrete wellies stigma.

He's a bit slow off the mark but once he gets revved up he can hold his own. Brilliant moment today. He was cackling away to himself as well.

I think he'd picked up will sharp's boots by mistake
