Class player. Sorry to see him go. But like most things we are not aware what goes on behind closed doors. Smith will be calling the shots and we have to trust him. Good luck to the lad. But we move on. Hopefully have another couple of signings lined up

Had to happen in my humble opinion, big part of the 'reboot'.

No doubt talented but not what we need at the moment, we clearly need the cap space.

Just a tad disappointed that others hotly tipped to be shown the door seem likely to be here next year.

In AP & TS we trust, at least getting on with it, not writing next season off just yet.

Dont like the club insinuation that he has a much more serious injury than he has.Makes the club look foolish and a bit petty given Hudds 3 year contract.
I am certain their medical staff have done their homework

The club hasn't mentioned anything, it was the HDM - but they may have a genuine concern about his injury

Because nobody else would take them, so we are stuck with them.

HDM clearly acting as a mouthpiece for the club to try and put a spin on him leaving.

Be interesting to see how much of the season he misses

the information though has obviously come from the club just like the HDM revealed several weeks ago that the club would be willing to let Connor move on.
I have said several times i would be happy to see Connor move on if we could get a decent fee for him to help the club move forward and possibly help moving Taylor and Griffin on.
If we havnt received a fee seems to me that there is possibly a player exchange but as i said i dont like the way the club are trying to downplay the loss of Connor by saying he may have a very serious injury when the medical staff at Hudds have cleared the move for a three year deal.

If any, Greg Brown isn’t held in such high esteem for nothing.
